An early product role building a B2B tool that surfaced Reddit discussions relevant to a given product. This was engineering and product work rather than research, and is listed here as earlier experience.

Problem

Teams wanted to find forum discussions where their product was actually relevant, without resorting to indiscriminate posting.

My contribution

Built application and retrieval components surfacing discussion threads matching a product description.

Role: Full-stack engineer — distributed team.

Method

Threads were retrieved and ranked for relevance against a product description, with the application layer handling accounts, saved queries, and review of surfaced results.

Evaluation

No formal evaluation. Relevance quality was assessed informally by the team and never measured.

Outcomes

• Shipped working product with a distributed team

Limitations

No measurement of retrieval quality or of any downstream effect. Claims about conversion or engagement outcomes would not be supportable, and none are made.
